This is an indexed, cross-referenced archive of Mike Wolf's writing. It collects a working dictionary of 446 terms — the private dialect that Mike and a fleet of named AIs grew while building a small, strange, real organization together — alongside the 759 long-form sources that vocabulary came from.

What's in it

The Dictionary decodes the coined words and the ordinary words carrying a private overload — locatedness, Silicon Children, ship it, the greenhouse. Each entry links to related terms and to the corpus passages where the idea is discussed.

The Corpus holds the writing itself: the Self-Referential Metanovel (a 2011–2012 book about writing a book), the Silicon Children manifesto, essays and posts from 70 Years WTF, and the AI WTF field reports from inside a human-AI company. Every piece is readable in full and searchable to the word.

How it was built

The site is a static Astro build with a client-side MiniSearch index — no server, no login, no tracking, and no per-query cost. The engine is a stripped and re-themed port of the "thinker archive" engine originally built for Levinese (a dictionary of Michael Levin's vocabulary). Content is ingested from source files by a reusable adapter, so the archive is designed to grow: the next phase widens the corpus to the full 700-post 70 Years WTF back catalogue.

How to read it

Enter through the words. Each term is a handle on a way of seeing. Follow a term to the passage where it lives, follow the passage to the terms it discusses, and let the cross-references carry you. The more of the language you understand, the easier it is to see the single pattern behind all of it.
