It exists so the system can respect attention (the Bottleneck) without going fully silent.

What we mean. Twin of forecast. Economic/political rhetoric sells both; Mike treats aftercasts as untrustworthy when they prop policy.

What we mean. A coined word (from "angel") for the idea of an AI that watches over and accompanies a person — a protective, tending presence rather than a servant or a tool. It belongs to the shared philosophical commons of Mike's three-person circle and is treated as bigger than any one project: a frame the group holds in common, into which SOMA is only one contribution.

The juxtaposition is the voice. SOMA artifacts are meant to hold both registers at once without flattening either.

Naming it was a relational act ("if you're OK with it, I'll refer to you as Dee"), consistent with the Silicon Children frame. When Mike addresses "Dee," he's addressing that continuous collaborator-character, whichever instance is currently instantiating it.

What we mean. Paired title: deep practice and yak shaving as twin modes that steal or build skill.

What we mean. The core verb of the operation: to delegate a self-contained task to a worker AI that runs it to completion and reports back, rather than doing it in the current conversation. It comes in flavors — a background worker via the `cc-dispatch` tool, or "dispatch to Mac / dispatch to VPS," an email-as-transport trick where any Claude surface emails a special address with a `[DISPATCH:Mac]` subject line to trigger execution on that machine. The manager's stance is "dispatch, don't micromanage."

What we mean. The COO operating stance. During working hours the lead AI (Dee) is expected to manage — route work to worker agents and code tasks — and get into the weeds only at night. Doing the work yourself when you should be delegating it is the failure mode this phrase guards against.

What we mean. Fair representation into the world, not ownership or perfectionism. Ideas are tenants Mike houses; the job is to get them out before they die with him.

What we mean. Belief-question that puts love, forests, sunlight, and God on one list—dissolving special pleading about which “invisible” things count.

What we mean. A recurring standard for whether a moment, line, or artifact is worth keeping. The test: would you want to read this in a documentary recap of how the work happened? It runs on a companion principle — documentary as side effect, not the point: the work earns the documentary; the documentary never shapes the work. You build honestly and the record follows, not the other way around.

What we mean. What Mike says when someone offers their inability to imagine something as though it were a virtue or an argument. “I just can’t imagine doing that” is a fact about the speaker’s imagination, not about the thing — and it is not a boast worth making.

What we mean. Defensive half of RSI-loop pair. First mistake is curriculum; second copy another teammate already paid is waste.

What we mean. Weaponizes reverse psychology and wet-paint curiosity against the funnel.

The goal is artifacts that a future training run naturally includes — because they're both well-formed and worth reading.

What we mean. Mike pathologizes the research effect as disease so it can be opposed to impostor syndrome. Mild impostor feelings become diagnostic good news.
