Two days later I wrote this chapter.

“This is not the way to practice practicing,” said the metanovel.

“It’s not,” agreed my computer.

“Really,” said the doorknob, exasperated. “The answer is so obvious.”

I thought for a while.

Then I sat down.

My computer and I typed: “You’re right. It’s obvious.”
